Case Manager
My name is Brittany and I am the case manager here at St. John’s Recovery Place. I moved to New Smyrna Beach Florida after living in Broward County for 29 years. I have worked in the field of recovery and treatment of alcoholism and addiction extensively. I have experience as a group facilitator, behavioral health technician, and case manager. I have several training certificates from the Department of Children and Families in the areas of Recovery Peer Specialist, Recovery Support Specialist, Parent Leader and currently in the process of becoming licensed by the State of Florida for this training. Along with my professional training, I have personal experience within the realm of recovery having struggled with past addictions personally and coming from a family of addicts. My number one passion in life is to just simply help the next addict and alcoholic recover. Each day I look forward to arriving at work because I know I get to further help our patients even after they have graduated from SJRP. In my spare time, my second passion is participating in service work for the Volusia Recovery Alliance which is in my county’s local Recovery Community Organization. I have been nominated to the position of Head Chairperson to the New Chance Narcan Committee where we distribute free Narcan to people who are still active in their addictions as well as people who provide care and services to those who are still active.
