Jesenia Villoldo is one of our clinical therapists and RMHCI and RMFTI here at SJRP.
She has an immense passion for working with individuals, couples, and their families through life hardships, addictions, and mental health struggles. She was born and raised in New York, has lived in Georgia, and now calls Florida home. Jesenia is a U.S. Army Veteran and has worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs in their Mental Health Clinic.
Jesenia obtained her B.S. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and her Master's in Marriage, Family, and Couples Therapy from The University of Central Florida. Jesenia's work focuses on trauma and slowly turning the narrative from "what is wrong with you?" to "what happened to you?" by using integrative approaches that focus on the individual.
When Jesenia is out of session, she can be found at the beach, at the gym, or hanging out with her husband or dog. Having lived a life of adversity herself, she feels that it is a tremendous privilege to sit with people in the midst of their pain as well as be a guide towards healing.
