Michael Wonski
Clinical Director, LMHC
Michael Wonski, LMHC, serves as Clinical Director with over 15 years of personal and professional experience in the field of recovery. His journey has spanned a wide range of roles—from driver and group leader to counselor and clinical leader—each one enriching his holistic, client-centered approach to care.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Michael specializes in evidence-based therapies for both substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. He is known for his compassionate, trauma-informed care, including his use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and for integrating mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. Deeply rooted in his own long-term recovery, Michael brings warmth, authenticity, and a strengths-based philosophy to his work, empowering clients to embrace their resilience and dignity without labels or judgment.
Michael’s leadership style emphasizes collaboration, uniting therapists, medical professionals, and support staff in a shared mission of client transformation. He believes recovery flourishes in community—where open dialogue, trust, and compassion lay the groundwork for meaningful change. His clinical vision is underpinned by a belief in the power of faith, self-awareness, and personal conviction to guide lasting healing.
Originally from New Jersey, Michael now lives in Central Florida with his wife, Mandy, on her family’s peaceful cattle ranch. Surrounded by open land and quiet beauty, he finds the same grounding and renewal he strives to offer others. Inspired by the words of Viktor Frankl and Rollo May, Michael believes in the freedom to choose one’s path and the power of presence, awareness, and intention in shaping a life of recovery and purpose.
